Sl: Na obali Blejskega jezera, obdanega z zelenimi griči in svetlikajočo vodo, je Anja obstala.
En: On the shores of Blejsko jezero, surrounded by green hills and shimmering water, Anja paused.
Sl: Za njo je bila dolga zima.
En: Behind her lay a long winter.
Sl: Čutila je utrujenost, ki ji je sedela v srcu kot majhna siva oblačka.
En: She felt fatigue sitting in her heart like a small gray cloud.
Sl: Anja je bila odločna veslačica, ljubeča mir, ki ga je prinašal tek na vodi.
En: Anja was a determined rower, loving the peace that racing on the water brought.
Sl: V iskanju topline in ljubezni, je stopila na pomladno sonce.
En: In search of warmth and love, she stepped into the spring sunshine.
