We take a closer look not only at Judas' infamous kiss that led to Jesus' arrest but also at the quieter betrayals that occurred among Jesus' closest friends. Peter’s denials, the disciples' disputes over greatness, and their failure to stay awake in Jesus' hour of need all showcase humanity’s propensity to turn away from what matters in moments of fear and desperation.
But as we listen, we’ll discover that the narrative doesn't end there. In the face of betrayal, we also witness the astounding grace and unwavering love of Jesus. He doesn’t retaliate or withdraw; instead, He offers healing to those who betray Him, showing us that love has the power to transform even the deepest wounds and scars.
