š“ AtĀ KPMGās Tel Aviv office, the āCBDC IL Forumā gathered several dozen attendees to hear insights from the Bank of Israel, academia, and KPMG. They presented findings from a study conducted with about 1,000 participants via the Roschink Institute, now published on the Bank of Israelās website.
šMore than half of the respondents (51.57%) showed a high level of interest in using the digital shekel. 34% of the public expressed a very high level of interest, and 17% expressed medium-high interest. This growth was fueled largely by demand for Bitcoin ETFs, including the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT). iShares ETFs overall had a record-breaking quarter with $107B in inflows. The surge highlights the growing institutional and retail interest in crypto exposure through regulated investment vehicles.
