Da: Nyhavn var smuk denne forårsdag.
En: Nyhavn was beautiful this spring day.

Da: De farverige huse skinnede i solen, og folk fyldte de mange caféer langs kanalen.
En: The colorful houses shone in the sun, and people filled the many cafés along the canal.

Da: Søren sad ved et bord udenfor Emils café, "KaffeHjørnet."
En: Søren sat at a table outside Emil's café, "KaffeHjørnet."

Da: Han havde en kop dampende kaffe i hånden og så ud over den pulserende gade.
En: He had a steaming cup of coffee in his hand and looked out over the bustling street.

Da: Søren, en stille kunstner, ventede på sine venner.
