Temperatures will dip below freezing through Wednesday morning for most of the Tri-State.

For spots where the growing season has already started, there's a freeze warning until 9:00 a.m., so make sure to protect tender plants.

The cold wind will ease up a bit on Wednesday, but despite sunshine, it will still be chilly for April.

Clouds increase on Thursday with some rain late west of the city before overspreading the rest of the area at night and continuing at times Friday and Saturday.
