Description
Pittsburgh International Classic Theatre, or PICT, is back for a season finale! Artistic Director of PICT, Eliza Huffman, talks about their upcoming American Premiere of Amy Ng's adaptation of Miss Julie. Eliza talks about the story of Miss Julie, set in post-World War II Hong Kong, and how Amy Ng's adaptation focuses on a love triangle. Eliza highlights talk back discussions, an Asian Cultural Celebration, and a Film Screening of Mark Clayton Souther's version of Miss Julie set in the deep American South. She discusses the challenges of producing this play, and the joys of bringing this adaptation to life. She hopes to engage Pittsburgh's Asian community during this production, and highlight the diverse set of plays out there for all.
