📖The Little Fox-Sister

🧑‍🏫Author: Ukrainian folk tale;

👩‍🎨Illustrations: P. Deylik;

🗣️Reads by: A. Boyko

“The Little Fox-Sister” is a humorous Ukrainian folk tale that tells the story of a cunning, clever and not entirely honest little Fox. Pretending to be a victim of theft, she consistently deceives good owners and exchanges the eaten prey for increasingly valuable things - from a duck to a human daughter-in-law. But excessive greed and deceit eventually turn against her: instead of the last prey, she gets... a dog! The tale teaches that cunning and lies can bring temporary benefit, but sooner or later everything secret becomes apparent, and justice wins. A cheerful and instructive story with bright images and humor conveys folk wisdom and has a clear moral.
