女子称举报猥亵被送精神病院，警方权限法律如何规定？

日前有媒体报道称一女子自称因举报辅警猥亵后被强制送入精神病院，警方通报称不存在猥亵且送医合法，就目前公开报道看由于采访缺失很多信息仍然存疑，但法律层面警方确实有送医权限，主要是由于女子曾呈现自杀可能，至于医院收治是否违法则有待法院判决确认。
