Wake Up Sydney: Weather, Traffic, and Trains Update Today's Episode: Weather, Traffic, and Trains – Your Sydney Update Date: Tuesday, 13 August 2024 Host: Johnny Rocket Good morning, Sydney! Join your favorite morning voice, Johnny Rocket, on today’s episode of Wake Up Sydney, where we kickstart your day with all the essential updates.   Today, Johnny starts us off with a weather overview - it's a brisk and damp 14.8°C morning in Sydney’s CBD, mirroring conditions in Parramatta and at Bondi Beach, though we're looking at a warm-up to 20°C as the day moves forward. Grab your umbrellas but be ready to shed some layers later on!   Moving onto traffic, those driving might face some delays. There's an accident on the Victoria Road on-ramp to James Ruse Drive in Parramatta that might slow you down. Meanwhile, a collision at Mamre Road at Kerrs Road in Mount Vernon is snaring traffic in both directions. If you're stuck in the gridlock, Johnny suggests cranking up some tunes or catching up on a good podcast (like this one!).   For train commuters, it’s smoother sailing—public transport is not reporting any major issues and remains a reliable alternative this morning.   In true Johnny Rocket style, he wraps up reminding us to maintain our sunny Sydney spirit, irrespective of the cloudy skies. Keep smiling, Sydney!  Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for more timely updates and Johnny’s unique take on all things Sydney.
