It seems unlikely that Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders would be available for the New Orleans Saints at No. 9 overall, but if he is, they should take him in the 2025 NFL Draft. New Orleans is in need of a quarterback of the future. If they believe Sanders is that guy, or even Ole Miss Jaxson Dart, the way the NFL loves it's passers (and needs them) might trigger them to do the unexpected and take a passer earlier than anyone expects. If Kellen Moore wants his guy, the Saints should take him.
After that, there are still multiple ways to continue building out the draft class. Including with a lot of underrated value is each round. Following the QB selection, this mock focuses on underrated prospects that could be home run hits for New Orleans.
