Syracuse Orange Basketball has landed elite transfer portal point guard Naithan George from the Georgie Tech Yellow Jackets, according to On3's Joe Tipton. George led the ACC with 6.5 assists per game in 2024-25 and should be the perfect point guard for Adrian Autry. George figures to slot into the Syracuse starting lineup with JJ Starling, Donnie Freeman, and perhaps Nate Kingz. The Orange have assembled a group that can score, but the question is if they'll be able to raise their defensive play from a year ago.
