A Way Out of No Way

Season 12 Episode 25

Send us a text

“ I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” From Isaiah 43:19

What does it mean to live by faith? It means in part that no matter how difficult things are and no matter how long they’ve been difficult, we hold tenaciously to the belief that somehow, someway God will make a way out of no way. Then we live our lives accordingly.

There’s almost no person more miserable or more wretched than the one who has given up hope. A person accepts the unacceptable. A person without hope will trade their hopes, dreams, and aspirations for momentary comfort or pleasure. A person without hope is all to willing to compromise their dignity and self respect, and yours too.

A person who believes that God will make a path for them is willing to continue the journey when things get hard or when the path is hard to see. A person who believes that they will find a river in the desert, isn’t quick to drink from just any cup.

The belief that God will make a way when we can’t see the way is the cornerstone of a life lived in faith.
