Description
Hello, Lovelies! In a special episode, we're putting pro wrestling to the side (partially) this week to discuss historic non-binary representation at the 2020 Summer Olympics. American skateboarder Alana Smith and Canadian soccer player Quinn made history this week, becoming the first trans non-binary athletes to ever compete at the Olympics, but their moments were overshadowed by misgendering on international broadcasts. Brian Bell and de la Cretaz have both been covering the event and come together to discuss the fallout, what the Olympics and its broadcasters can do to better respect non-binary identities and the joyful moments from both athletes that the reporting on their misgendering has overshadowed. They also sneak in a bit about the Boston League of Wicked Wrestlers!
