Stewart, Chief of the Section of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, director of the Sports Concussion Management Program and team physician at Tulane University. Dr. Stewart discusses Tua Tagovailoa’s injuries sustained against the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. Dr. Stewart explains the nuances and complications of concussion testing and concussion protocol and also gives his thoughts on how the NFL can improve concussion management and protocol. Dr. Stewart discusses working with former NFL players and taking a holistic approach when diagnosing and treating athletes with CTE and mental and physical injuries after their careers.
