On December 9th, 2022. Officers responded to the scene of an accident in which an intoxicated man hit a man riding a bicycle on the roadway. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. According to multiple witnesses, the intoxicated man did not stop after hitting the cyclist, the witnesses had to wave him down for him to stop. The drunk man also did not have any recollection of hitting someone and did not know what was happening.
