Officers were patrolling a neighborhood when they recognized an individual with whom they had prior encounters. The officers suspected that the individual might have an active warrant.
Upon approaching the individual and requesting her name, she provided a false identity, likely that of one of her associates known to the police. The officers, familiar with the person she claimed to be, were alerted to the deception.
After a brief period, the woman exhibited signs of unease and unexpectedly took evasive action.
