The Hammer Special #14 - UFC Experience (Athletes)
Published 13 years, 7 months ago
Description
The Hammer MMA Radio staff are in Montreal for UFC 158: St. Pierre vs. Diaz, and somewhat unexpectedly wound up watching professional athletes practicing some MMA with the owner of Tristar Gym, and Georges St. Pierre's right-hand man, Firas Zahabi.
So we caught up with former NHL greats Georges Laracque and Denis Gauthier, 3-time Olympic speed-skater Isabelle Charest, and 2-time Olympic speed-skater Marianne St. Gelais to talk about their brief foray into MMA, and what they are looking forward to seeing at the fights this weekend.
Listen to us Wednesday nights at 7pm on CFMU 93.3 FM, and online at http://www.thehammermma.com, Last Word On Sports, and The Itunes Store, or just email us.
