Syracuse Orange Basketball was reportedly a finalist for UNLV transfer point guard, Dedan Thomas, per On3's Joe Tipton. Thomas ultimately chose to commit to the LSU Tigers over the Kentucky Wildcats, Florida Gators and Syracuse Orange. Adrian Autry's squad was not publicly linked to Dedan Thomas prior to his commitment. It could reveal that Syracuse is working on some big moves behind-the-scenes. It also suggest the Orange's financial budget is in fact stronger, considering there was no direct connection between Thomas and Syracuse.
