We live in a world that loves to slap a pretty pink bow on something we’d rather not acknowledge, like covering a zit with a glittery cute little star. Prostitution has existed since the beginning of time but today we’re pretending it’s something that it’s not. This has created a strangely fine line between casual sex and “sex work.” I want to unpack the tension point between sex and sexual empowerment as they are not one and the same.
This episode is about female sexuality, the harm of casual sex for women, what women’s healing really is, and more.
