When one of Colton Dixon’s newborn twin daughters was delivered without a pulse, the singer and his wife Annie chose faith over fear. In an emotional interview with CBN’s Prayer Link, the American Idol alum recalled the terrifying moment during an emergency c-section when their baby wasn’t breathing. Instead of panicking, the couple prayed boldly, believing God was still in the miracle-working business. “We prayed from a place of knowing,” Dixon said, as medical staff worked to revive the infant. After a tense minute and a half, their daughter came back to life. The singer, who wrote his song “Miracles” during another low point in his life, says the journey through trials has only strengthened his faith.
