Today we're going to be taking a look at one of the most beloved, innocent, and selfless characters of the entire series- Dobby.-
Dobby the big hearted House Elf makes his first appearance in the Chamber of Secrets- when he enters the home of #4 privet drive at perhaps the worst moment imaginable- the same day that Vernon Dursley, Harry's terrible uncle, is having a very important business dinner.
Dobby did, however, act with good intentions, and from this moment onwards he continued to win over our hearts with each subsequent appearance. He brought so much to the series with hilarious lines, helped our hero through his journey, and is one of the most loyal and honest characters in the series.-
HOWEVER, despite being a fan favorite, Dobby was severely underrepresented in the films, and actually had a much larger presence in the books.-
