Kirk Cousins closes out Kirk-tober with another big Atlanta Falcons win in Tampa Bay
Description
It proved another big day for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins in a 31-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cousins' 276 yards passing and four touchdowns lifted the Falcons over the Bucs, extending their grip on the NFC South. Tenitra Batiste and Aaron Freeman break down the critical plays Cousins made to help the Falcons get a win.
Kyle Pitts also had a big day on National Tight Ends Day, while the Falcons offensive line stepped up despite losing guard Chris Lindstrom in the second half. Meanwhile, the Falcons defense had another inconsistent "oreo" of a day with bad on both ends and good creamy center in the middle of the game. Tenitra and Aaron discuss the impact of safety Jessie bates and cornerback A.J. Terrell, while discussing the causes for the Falcons inability to slow down the Bucs offense at points. The Bucs rolled back the clock with the "creamsicle" throwback uniforms today, and the pair discuss if they like them or not before talking about their favorite all-time tight ends both in Atlanta and outside on National Tight Ends Day.
