The Memphis Grizzlies shocked the NBA by firing Grizz head coach (and former Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach) Taylor Jenkins on Friday, so Ti Windisch opened this bonus Gyro Step episode with some thoughts on why despite liking Jenkins as a coach the Bucks should NOT hire him or anybody else mid-season, or before getting a true organizational plan in place that they’ve lacked post Mike Budenholzer.
Then the conversation shifts to a Knicks Film School episode Ti and KFS host Andrew Claudio (aka GMAC) recorded prior to the Jenkins news, featuring a ton of Bucks and New York Knicks talk ahead of their Friday night matchup. Ti and Andrew also covered some very early playoff previewing, as the Knicks and Bucks could very well end up first round opponents. While Jalen Brunson and Giannis Antetokounmpo will hopefully be active by then, there’s a shot neither of them plus Damian Lillard are out for tonight’s game.
