Morning Mantra: “Be an encourager, the world has enough critics."
If someone is falling behind in life, you don’t have to remind them. Believe me, they already know.
If someone is unhealthy, they know. If someone is struggling in their personal relationship, or their relationship with money, or with their self-image, they already know. It’s what they think about each day.
What you need to do for those who are struggling is not remind them, but encourage them. Tell them what is good about them, meet them and love them as they are. Hold space for their pain- which is usually behind any form of struggle.
Remember how it feels when you can’t see clearly for yourself? You don’t need others to speak down to you, telling you what is wrong with you and your life and how you can do it better. I'm pretty sure you too are already aware.
What you need- just like everyone else- is reassurance that you can make things better.
