Parkers, Drivers, and a Can of Worms: All Fours Chapter 2

Season 1 Episode 3 Published 1 year ago
Description

Chapter 2 of Miranda July’s All Fours is rather short. Which might have meant a short episode trying to figure out who is a parker and who is a driver or if it's all bullshit if it weren’t for that darn can of worms: what DOES happen to relationships and identities when a couple has a child?

Amy & Tommy talk about transformative experiences, first dates, parenting, and standing ovations for a simple dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. Amy wants to make sure that you know that she LOVES being a mom despite the recurrent feeling of wading around in deep puddles of worry and failure. Perhaps, as one friend suggested, they are actually sparkly, over-the-knee boots that she's wearing to protect her from the worst of it.

Read along or just enjoy the discussion!
