The Cincinnati Bearcats were picked to finish second in the American Athletic Conference at yesterday's conference media days. Alex questions how that can happen as the Cincinnati Bearcats are coming off a College Football Playoff appearance, two straight conference championships, 16 straight conference wins and 26 straight home wins.
Whoever starts at quarterback for the Cincinnati Bearcats will have an offensive line that is returning all five starters. They will also have the best tight end tandem in the country potentially as security blankets.
On the other side, the Cincinnati Bearcats defensive line returns solid starters. The hope is they continue to play that complementary football that Luke Fickell preaches with this program, allowing the offensive line and the rest of the offense to get more in-game possessions.
