A report from an Arkansas Razorbacks website believes the Cincinnati Bearcats can return to the College Football Playoff this season. Alex thinks that while that might not be realistic, it is a possibility.
But there are a lot of things that need to happen for the Cincinnati Bearcats to return to the College Football Playoff. How does making the CFP last year and going to the Big 12 next year affect their national perception if they make a season-opening statement and beat Arkansas?
A return trip to the College Football Playoff berth would be huge for the American Athletic Conference and College Football overall. Alex explains if the Cincinnati Bearcats, a Group of Five team, can make the four-team CFP two years in a row, that would show that other Group of Five conferences should get the chance to get there as well.
