The Cincinnati Bearcats are getting set to travel to Arkansas this Saturday for the 2022 season-opener. Alex gives listeners and viewers a first look at Arkansas based on his film study.
Arkansas is a team that is driven by its running game, particularly from dual-threat quarterback KJ Jefferson. There are also other elements to the running game that Alex thinks could be problematic for the Cincinnati Bearcats defense.
On defense, Arkansas lost a lot from their team last year. But they still have a physical linebacker in Bumper Pool that could wreak havoc on the Cincinnati Bearcats offensive gameplan.
There are ways the Cincinnati Bearcats, though, can exploit Arkansas's defense. Alex explains how the offense needs to get the starting quarterback out in space and be aggressive with their play-calling, including taking shots against a vulnerable Arkansas secondary.
