It's Tuesday, which means it's Turning Point Tuesday on Locked On Bearcats. Alex looks back at the key turning points in the Cincinnati Bearcats 31-24 loss at Arkansas.

The biggest turning point came midway though the third quarter when the Cincinnati Bearcats squandered a golden opportunity to tie the game after recovering an Arkansas fumble inside the five yard line. Instead, four penalties on the ensuing drive forced the Cincinnati Bearcats to settle for a field goal, failing to flip the game's momentum in the process.

Penalties plagued the Cincinnati Bearcats mightily on Saturday, including wiping out a chance to cut into Arkansas's lead or tie the game early in the fourth quarter. Alex thinks maybe the inexperience on this Bearcats team led to the excessive amount of penalties, but they still need to be cleaned up regardless.

Speaking of the kicking game, it was a struggle once again. Alex reiterates a point he made all offseason as to why the kicking game is so important to this year's team.

Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Ben Bryant showed a lot of toughness and resiliency on Saturday, but a first quarter interception set the tone for a lackluster first half. That put the Cincinnati Bearcats in a hole that too many penalties prevented them from overcoming.
