The Cincinnati Bearcats defense is off to a hot start over their first five games of the season, and there are thoughts this defense could be better this year than last year.
Alex is joined by AllBearcats and Sports Illustrated colleague Russ Heltman for his thoughts on this year's defense and who the breakout player is in addition to Ivan Pace Jr. being the best player on defense.
Alex and Russ then talk about their hope for Corey Kiner building on his breakout performance Saturday over the next few games and why this year's offense may be more dynamic this year than last year.
The Cincinnati Bearcats are taking on USF this Saturday on Homecoming weekend, and Russ thinks the team will, once again, avoid a potential trap game.
