It's gameday for the Cincinnati Bearcats, and it's a big one tonight as the Cincinnati Bearcats welcome the ECU Pirates into Nippert Stadium! Alex explains why this game will prove whether or not the Cincinnati Bearcats are legitimate conference championship contenders.
ECU presents multiple challenges, primarily running back Keaton Mitchell. Mitchell is the conference's leading rusher, and Alex thinks he is the biggest player the Cincinnati Bearcats defense needs to stop. If Mitchell gets going, that's going to open up passing opportunities for ECU's strong receiving corps and AAC-record-setting quarterback Holton Ahlers.
When it comes to this game, ECU definitely has talent. But do they have the culture to unseat the Cincinnati Bearcats atop the AAC? Alex explains why that will be the deciding factor in this crucial game.
