The Cincinnati Bearcats defense took a big hit over the weekend when they lost linebacker and four-star linebacker Jaheim Thomas to the transfer portal. He's the highest rated defensive commit in franchise history.
Alex is joined by Neil Meyer of The Front Office News for his insights on Jaheim Thomas entering the portal and what it means for the defense going forward.
Neil still thinks the defense has a chance to be really good, especially with a guy like hybrid defensive end/linebacker Daniel Greziak.
Neil then explains why he thinks neither Ben Bryant or Emory Jones have separated themselves from each other in the quarterback battle and when he thinks a starting quarterback will be named.
Alex and Neil then talk about other players who stood out on offense and why Neil thinks defensive back Jordan Young will be hard to keep off the field.
