Continuing our tribute to late actors, we tackle the excellent Gene Hackman crime thriller The French Connection directed by William Friedkin. Here we take a look at the composition of the film and how its edits and multiple chase sequences add to the film's swift feeling. We also talk about Poughkeepsie, police racism, rooting for Charnier the villain, and a lot more. We're drinking Sloop Brewing Company's collaboration with Marist college, the Red Fox IPA.
