Swedish hockey pioneer Thommie Bergman talks about representing Sweden at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Japan, making the move to North America to join the Detroit Red Wings, his first NHL fight against none other than penalty minutes leader Dave ‘the Hammer’ Schultz, moving over to the WHA to help the Winnipeg Jets win the AVCO Cup, his 25 year scouting career for the Toronto Maple Leafs [along with former legendary goalie Mike Palmateer], and a look back at the Maple Leafs he had a hand in drafting [why oh why didn’t we KEEP Tuukka Rask?!?!?!]
