1. Jesus Rescues Us from Darkness into His Kingdom
(Colossians 1:11-14; Acts 26:17-18; 1 John 1:5-7)
Through faith in Christ, believers are transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's beloved Son. Jesus breaks the power of sin, forgives our guilt, and gives us the strength to live in His light. Those who have been rescued are called to walk in obedience and encourage others to do the same.

2. Jesus Is Supreme Over All Creation
(Colossians 1:15-17; Hebrews 1:3; John 1:1-3)
Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God, the Creator of everything, and the One who holds all creation together. Because Christ is supreme over every power and authority, believers can confidently trust Him in every circumstance. There is nothing beyond His wisdom, power, or control.

3. Jesus Brings Peace Through the Cross
(Colossians 1:18-20; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:13-16)
Christ is the head of the church and the first to rise permanently from the dead. Through His death on the cross, He made peace between God and sinful humanity, providing the only way of salvation. His sacrifice accomplished what no human effort could ever achieve.

4. Jesus Reconciles Sinners to God
(Colossians 1:21-22; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 8:1)
Although every person was once separated from God because of sin, Jesus has reconciled believers to Himself through His death. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, declared holy, and welcomed into God's presence, not because of their own righteousness but because of Christ's finished work.

5. Live the Rescue Mission by Helping Others Find Christ
(Colossians 1:23; Philippians 1:6; Jude 22-23; Matthew 28:19-20)
Believers are called to remain steadfast in the gospel and faithfully share the hope they have received with others. God continues His work of transforming His people while using them to introduce others to Jesus Christ. Every Christian has the privilege of participating in God's rescue mission by pointing people to the Savior.
