Opportunity
Description
“There’s no certainty only opportunity.”
If everything was a sure thing, nothing would be worth the risk.
Taking a risk means the thing you’re trying to do or create will be worth it in the end.
And if you fail, you will have attempted something you’ve never done. With that, you will have created another opportunity. One of my favorite types of opportunities.
A learning opportunity.
This is where growth truly occurs, in “failure”. Failure is only ever final when you quit. So there’s never really any failure, only learning.
Going for it and not getting there is just the best way to inch closer to it. If you attempted to go after a goal and only got 50% there, you know what 50% looks like and how it feels. Knowing that prepares you for the next attempt.
One thing IS for certain, opportunities are always there. If you take the time and energy to look for opportunities, you’ll always find them. If you are always looking for an excuse as to why you don’t have any opportunities, you’ll never find them.
You have to get up and go do the work to find them.
