‘Shattering the Glass’
Last year’s NCAA women’s basketball championship brought together a dynasty team in the University of South Carolina, and Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, already a basketball legend. The game’s popularity is as high as it’s ever been as we approach the 2025 tournament. Historian Pamela Grundy and former sportswriter Susan Shackelford are authors of a revised edition of "Shattering the Glass: The Remarkable History of Women's Basketball.” They join Due South’s Jeff Tiberii to talk about the importance of the women’s college game in this moment, especially here in North Carolina.
