Christian College Presidents in the Fight of Their Lives

Christian College Presidents in the Fight of Their Lives

Published 3 years, 7 months ago
Description

State subsidies. Pell grants. Title VII and Title IX. Bostock. College bubble. Accommodation laws. An 800-year infatuation with secular knowledge built up on human reason in the Christian college. It's a perfect storm for the elimination of the Christian college, especially for the 95%+ that are tied in to federal funding. Presidents of two colleges (Biola and Colorado Christian University) admit that they are in the fight of their lives . . . for bare survival. But the real issue will be epistemological. Will this be a secular institution seeking truth built up on human reason, or will this be a biblical institution formed solidly on special revelation, not so much natural theology anymore? We get to the core issue.
