Ramadan Reflection Day 19- Gaza, Pharaoh, and the Power of Divine Justice– Dr. Abdul Wahid

Published 1 year, 1 month ago
Description
In a time when the horrors from Gaza flood our screens and weigh heavily on our hearts, a timeless verse from the Qur’an offers a beacon of hope and perspective. Allah (swt) says: وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْ‌ضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً And We intend to favor those who were held as weak in the land and to make them leaders. Surah Al-Qasas (28:5) It reminds us of Allah’s divine promise—to elevate the oppressed, to grant them victory, and to establish them as rightful inheritors of the land. The very tyrants who seek to crush them will live to witness the rise of those they tried to bury. This reflection powerfully connects the struggles of Bani Isra’il with the current oppression faced by the people of Gaza. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFvor46nYLc
