In this episode, we bring you the 1967 mysterious and unsolved homicide of Mary Faye Hunter from Decatur in Morgan County, Alabama. Like so many cases, there’s little left of the original investigation. And, though officially open, the case is not active except by her only living relative, a nephew, Jamie Hunter, along with his friend and researcher/author Brad Golson. We share some audio clips from an interview with this duo as well as an interview with the then very young girls, who found Mary Faye’s remains. There are many resources and theories about her murder and we’ll share some of these resources below. But a good Google search will bring you a treasure trove of information.
But our hope is as long as we and all of you out there keep Mary Faye’s story alive, that someone will come forward and finally give her and her family resolution. #MaryFayeHunter #WhatHappenedToMaryFayeHunter MorganCountyAL #DecaturAL
