Catering - Your ONE simple change for today is (for planners) ask for and/or (for caterers) provide a local and seasonal alternative menu option when planning your menu.
Benefits:
-By highlighting to the planning/stakeholding team your knowledge of your food sourcing you are showing your expertise
-This gives the event the opportunity to show off to attendees with more education, shared values demonstrated, and a more delicious in season option
-Even is the menus do not change, everyone is able to make a more informed choice based on information in ADDITION to cost, instead of exclusively focused on bottom line. Look out for options when it cost the same but is a double duty benefit.
