Catching A Killer: The Murder Of Rachel Morin (3/18/25)
Rachel Morin was a 37-year-old mother of five from Bel Air, Maryland, known for her vibrant personality and deep love for her children. Born on May 20, 1986, in New Hampshire, she was described by her family as someone who spread joy and had an infectious love for life. On August 5, 2023, Rachel went for a walk on the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air but did not return home. Her boyfriend reported her missing that evening, and tragically, her body was discovered the following day off the trail.
The investigation led authorities to arrest 23-year-old Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez in June 2024, charging him with first-degree murder and rape in connection to Rachel's death. Martinez-Hernandez, an El Salvador native, had previously been expelled from the United States three times and is also accused of attacking a nine-year-old girl and her mother in California during a home invasion.
