A man’s been released from custody even though RCMP say a Langley nurse was attacked by a suspect with a sharp-edged weapon. The Mounties say they were called to Langley Memorial Hospital just after midnight on March 8 after the nurse was assaulted. She’s okay. The BC Nurses Union says it happened after the nurse tried to grab a knife from a patient. A 37-year-old from Surrey is expected to appear in court at a later date.
