The Golden Knights were able to secure just one point in the two games over the weekend. Albeit, these games were back to back but the Golden Knights left a point on the table at Buffalo Saturday, as Tomas Hertl passed the puck to Jack Eichel on a path to an open net. That would have put the game away in regulation. Instead, VGK lost in a shootout. On Sunday the Golden Knights were shutout 3-0 in Detroit. They had just four points on the four-game road swing.
