The awkward pause continues, with Russia's President Putin keeping the world, and specifically President Trump, waiting and guessing about his ultimate response to the Ukraine ceasefire proposal. But while Trump continues to talk the process up, almost unnoticed signs are emerging that Putin is preparing his population for the contingency that it's all about to get a lot more hostile. It doesn't mean he's planning it that way, but he's certainly minded that what he's about to do is likely to provoke a reaction. Let's discuss.
