Learn a New Way
“Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.” - Psalm 27:11
We all have to learn. We all have to grow. None of us comes into this life with all the answers. Some of the answers we do have are incorrect or incomplete.
Communication: we need to learn to listen to understand rather than to respond. We need to learn how to listen with empathy and compassion. We need to learn to speak the truth in love, not in anger or spite.
We need to learn how to guard or hearts and minds, to manage our emotions and redirect our thoughts when they are taking us down a negative path.
We need to learn to separate ourselves from toxic people, remove ourselves from toxic environments, and surround ourselves with positive people in healthy places.
In short, we learn to live in love, for God, for ourselves, for our neighbors as ourselves, and for the world around us.
