Description
On this episode, we cover what is perhaps the deadliest place you could be during the Civil War, Andersonville Prison near Andersonville, Georgia. It opened in February 1864 and housed Union prisoners of war. Around 28% of the prisoners held at the camp died, mostly to scurvy, diarrhea, and dysentery. It was one truly awful place.
