With the loss, the Sixers (22-43) jumped over the Raptors (23-43) and are now tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the 5th worst record in the NBA, improving the chances that they retain the top-6 protected pick in the upcoming 2025 NBA Draft that they owe the Oklahoma City Thunder as a result of the Al Horford trade all those years ago.
