Episode 53- Flip The Script: The 1881 Washer Woman Strike
Published 1 year, 7 months ago
Description
Put on your boot cut jeans and get ready for a history lesson. This week we are going back in time to 1881 in Atlanta Georgia where Missy tells us a story about a group of badass women. These women were able to demand a better wages and respect by standing in solidarity and not backing down. Something that I think we can learn and be inspired by in today’s world. The 1881 Atlanta Washer Woman strike is today’s episode.
Be sure to rate and review and as always, stay grimly curious.
