Description
Surf's up, wave riders! The Pacific is serving up some serious stoke this weekend along the Southern California coastline.

Malibu and Los Angeles County beaches are looking at a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights dancing between 2 to 4 feet. Water temperatures are chilly at 51 to 58 degrees, so grab that wetsuit. We've got a west swell rolling in that'll keep things interesting.

Tide-wise, you'll want to catch the morning high tide at 5.0 feet around 4:30 AM, with a low dip to negative 0.5 feet by early afternoon. Evening brings another high tide at 3.6 feet.

Ventura County beaches are matching Malibu's energy with similar 2 to 4 foot waves and a moderate rip current warning. Water's sitting around 53 to 57 degrees - still wetsuit territory.

For our Santa Barbara crew, things are a bit mellower with 1 to 3 foot surf and a low rip current risk. Water temperatures hover between 52 to 54 degrees.

The real excitement is up north at San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Central Coast beaches. Northwest facing beaches are scoring massive 5 to 8 foot waves, while south facing beaches will see a solid 3 to 5 foot spread. Advanced surfers take note - this is your playground.

Thunderstorms? Not happening. Just clean, west-driven swells waiting for you to carve.

Stay safe, respect the ocean, and catch those waves!
